The first time I saw "Born This Way" is when my friend, Vocal Coach Rona, shared it via Facebook. The next day I saw an article that made me watch the song and listen to the lyrics again and again.
According to Yahoo! News, Lady Gaga's friend, Perez Hilton showed her the video of Maria Aragon, the 10-year old Filipino Canadian, singing Lady Gaga's song "Born This Way".

When Lady Gaga heard Maria Aragon sing her song she was so delighted that when Maria Aragon and Lady Gaga talked during a radio show, Lady Gaga told Maria Aragon "Not only do you have such a beautiful voice and you are so joyful to watch but, every once in a while, whether people believe it or not, I have a very bad day. And I was not having such a good day. And when Perez (Hilton) sent me the video of you singing I was so overjoyed that I began to cry,"
These words brought tears to the very young heart of Maria Aragon. However, the good news does not end there. After singing the chorus of Lady Gaga's "Born this Way", Maria Aragon was invited by Lady Gaga to sing the same song with her in a duet for the latter's Toronto Concert this coming March 2011.
The teary eyed, Maria Aragon readily accepted the invitation. Finally, the radio talk show host thanked Lady Gaga for making this song so that little girls can be inspired to be like her. I was really surprised to agree with the talk show host this time.
Honestly, I was one of those people who thought that the weird outfits were just a way for this pop singer to get people's attention. I did not see the artist right away. I was distracted with the outside appearance of Lady Gaga. The next breakthrough I had with Lady Gaga was when I heard Glee's version of the song Poker face. I can now proudly say that is my favorite Lady Gaga song next to Born This Way.

Most of all, the support of Filipinos are overwhelming. Several videos of Maria Aragon is shared in facebook. And the feelings of Filipinos were expressed similar to what futuready said:
